Martin Ntoungou Mpile has been appointed as the head coach of the Intermediary Lions team, the Cameroon Football Federation has said.
In a release signed today by Fecafoot's President, Tombi A Roko Sidiki, Ndtoungou Mpile gets the A' job and will be assisted by Agbor Ernest.
Ndtoungou Mpile who was assistant to Volker Finke at the 2014 World Cup replaces Bonaventure Djonkep who has stayed on national team duty.
He has been appointed at a time when the intermediary Lions are camping ahead of their 2016 CHAN (African Nations Championships) against the DR Congo.
Still in the wave of appointments, former Astres of Douala coach Richard Towa has been appointed as head coach of the U-17 Lions in place of Pierre Ndjilli Ndengue.
He will be assisted by former Indomitable Lion Emmanuel Maboang Kessack while Christophe Ousmanou is the fitness coach.
