Fai Collins, the latest Anglophone in the Den

The 23-year old would join up with the Indomitable Lions for ahead of next month's friendly against Nigeria.

Born in Bamenda on August 13, 1992,  Collins Ngoran Suiru Fai has been rewarded for his fine performances this term with Romanian outfit Dinamo Bucarest.

After coming through the ranks of FC Bamenda football academy, Fai Collins caught the eyes of Union of Douala who snapped him up in 2011.

Fai went on to form an integral part of the Union Sportive of Douala squad that won their first league title for 20 years, in 2012.

However, a lack of game time the next season saw him loaned out to Njalla Quan Sport Academy. In Limbe, the right back nailed down a regular starting spot and soon caught the eyes of several European clubs.

He later joined Romanian side Dinamo Bucarest later that year where he has been a mainstay in the starting eleven slotting either at right or left back.

Since joining the club, he has made 45 appearances, 40 as a starter and 5 as a substitute- he has featured for all of Dinamo's ten games this season catching the eye of Indomitable Lions head coach Volker Finke.

Fai Collins would be joining the Indomitable Lions after coming through the ranks of the U-21 and U-23 teams. With the right back spot still a dilemma for Finke, Fai Collins has a big chance to challenge Allan Nyom, who is equally returning to the team, for a place in the team. He couls as well slot in at left back for the injured Henri Bedimo.
