Cameroon to face Nigeria in October

The Indomitable Luions of Cameroon would face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in an international friendly next month, according to the Nigerian Football Federation.

The game would take place in the Belgian capital, Brussels on October 11, the NFF tweeted.

The Cameroon Football Federation is yet to confirm the information but Nigerian media report that both sides would use the game to prepare for November's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.


Pinnick on Friendly Matches- Nigeria will play Congo in Brussels on the 8th Oct, Cameroon on the 11th Oct.


On their part, Cameroon have lined up friendlies against Senegal and Egypt though the dates and venues are yet to be made official.

Cameroon top Group M of the 2017 qualifiers with maximum points after two games while Nigeria are second in their group with four points who boast a hundred percent record in the group.
