Official: Njie completes Tottenham move

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Cameroon international striker Clinton Njie, the club has announced.

The striker moves to White Hart Lane on a five-year deal worth £10 million after completing a medical on Friday.

''We are delighted to announce the signing of Clinton Njie from Olympique Lyonnais, subject to international clearance an the player receiving a work permit," the club said on their official website.

The striker enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last season with Lyon scoring 7 goals in 33 league 1 appearances as Lyon finished runners up.

''I am very happy to join Tottenham, such a big club in England,'' Njie who turns 22 today told the club's official website.

"I'm still young, still growing up and it;s a big challenge-the Premier League is one of the biggest Leagues in the world.

''The club is ambitious and I am ready to give my best to help the club achieve its aims.

According to Whoscored.com, the pacy forward attempted an average of 3.6 dribbles per game last season as well as an average of nearly 2 shots per game.

At international level, he has scored six goals in 11 appearances for Cameroon.
