Antalyaspor seal Makoun deal

Turkisk side Antalyaspor have confirmed the signing of Cameroonian midfielder Jean II Makoun.

The 32-year old who was a free agent after leaving French side Rennes has been training with Antalyaspor, who gained promotion to the Turkish topflight at the end of last season.

New adventure for Makoun

Head coach Yusuf Seliski was convinced by the player who will join fellow compatriot and club captain Samuel Eto who equally arrived in the summer.

Antalyaspor made a strong start to the Turkish Super League at the weekend with a 3-2 away win against Istanbul Basaksehir.

Makoun who retired from international duty after the 2014 World Cup will discover his fouth European league after France (Lille, Lyon and Rennes), England (Aston Villa) and Greece (Olympiakos).
