CHAN 2016: Cameroon draw DR Congo, Angola and Ethiopia

Cameroon have been drawn in Group B of the 2016 of the African Championships alongside Ethiopia, Angola and the DR Congo.

The draw for the competition tailored for players plying their trade on the continent was conducted today in Kigali, capital of the host nation Rwanda.

The Indomitable Lions would face a tricky test against the winners of the maiden edition DR Congo, 2011 finalists Angola and minnows Ethiopia.

Host Rwanda are drawn in Group A alongside Gabon, Morocco and Cote d'Ivoire.

2011 winners Tunisia have been drawn in Group C alongside Nigeria, Niger and Guinea while while Zimbabwe, one of the two nations to have competed at every edition of the tournament since it started in 2009 are drawn alongside Mali, Uganda and Zambia in Group D.

Group A would be based at the Amahoro stadium in Kigali,Group B in Butare wile Group C will be based at the Nyamirambo stadium in Kigali and Gisenyi would host Group D.

The competition would run from January 16 to February 7, 2016
