The former Indomitable Lions captain's reign as head coach of the Chadian national team started with a brilliant one nil victory over Egypt on Sunday in the first leg of their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Sunday.

Despite completely dominating the first half, Egypt failed to break the Chadian resistance as both sides went to the dressing room with the score goalless.
However, the home side turned the tables in the second half and completely outplayed the Egyptians and it will pay off 17 minutes from time when N'Douassel headed home the winner unmarked.
